Paper Minneapolis DFL Precinct Caucuses Nonattendee Form (Printable PDF)

This is the paper caucus nonattendee form that is used on Caucus Night on Tuesday, April 8. While online forms are due by Saturday, April 5 at 7 pm, paper forms are accepted on Caucus Night up to 15 minutes prior to delegate elections.

The state DFL constitution is the highest-ranking document governing caucus and conventions. This is the document that governs equal division by gender identity.

Minnesota DFL List & Roster Policy (PDF)

Minnesota DFL policy requires that all caucus attendee and convention lists be only shared with candidates seeking DFL endorsement, candidates seeking DFL party office, and DFL members using the lists for official party business, like recruiting volunteers.

Your City Convention will be held on the weekend of July 19 and 20, 2025.

Minneapolis DFL has approved the weekend of Saturday, July 19, 2025 and Sunday, July 20, 2025 for the City Convention. DFL candidates for Mayor, Park Board, and Board of Estimate and Taxation will be up for endorsement. This year, we are holding the City Convention over two days to give attendees time to do their work well with better rest over a long agenda, similar to other large conventions.

The location of the City Convention is to be determined.

What about voting with a criminal record?

With the recent passage of Minnesota’s Restore the Vote legislation, all Minnesota citizens who are not incarcerated for a felony sentence are eligible to vote. That means if you are on a probation or parole, you can now vote in all local, state, and federal elections as of June 1, 2023, including for President.
